Job Description: Community Engagement Coordinator
Summary/Objective: The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and sustaining strong partnerships with donors, businesses, volunteers, and participants through consistent communication, speaking engagements, and relationship-building incentives. This role focuses on securing product specific in-kind donations to support program operations. Additionally, the coordinator collaborates with Hunt 2 Heal staff to recruit, coordinate, and effectively place volunteers across the organization. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position contributes to the execution of engagement strategies and supports a variety of development initiatives.

Community Engagement:

Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive community engagement plan that aligns with Hunt 2 Heal’s mission and strategic goals

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, government officials, volunteers and donors through regular meetings with prospective and existing partners

Represent H2H through speaking engagements at churches, community events, businesses, fairs and educational settings

Collaborate with program staff to develop engagement opportunities that align with program goals and meet the needs of the community

Assist with planning and execute events that promote Hunt 2 Heal’s mission and engage the community in our work
Volunteer Management:

Develop and manage a volunteer program that provides meaningful opportunities for individuals and groups to support Hunt 2 Heal’s programs and initiatives

Oversee volunteer recruitment processes, ensuring all prospective volunteers are effectively guided through the onboarding pipeline

Partner with program staff to assess volunteer needs and strategically recruit qualified individuals using diverse outreach and marketing strategies

Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and refine volunteer recruitment materials

Coordinate with staff on volunteer appreciation initiatives

Work Environment: This job operates both a traditional office setting as well as on-site at the hunting lodge when necessary. This is a hybrid position.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position up to 24 hours a week. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings is necessary. Hours going over 24 hours must receive prior written approval from the Executive Director.
Travel: The Community Engagement Coordinator will occasionally have to be at the lodge, Hunt 2 Heals Office or travel for Hunt 2 Heal events.
