About Good Steward Remodeling & Construction
Good Steward Remodeling & Construction is a Tucson-based residential remodeling company serving homeowners in Tucson and nearby communities.
We are a licensed B-3 residential remodeling contractor focused on quality remodeling, clear communication, clean jobsites, and treating every client’s home with care and respect.
The name Good Steward is not just branding. We believe homeowners are trusting us with their homes, their money, their time, and their peace of mind. We want to handle that responsibility faithfully.
That means we care about clear scopes, honest communication, strong site protection, organized projects, clean work areas, and doing work the right way.
We are looking for a high-quality Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Field Supervisor who shares that mindset.
Position Summary
This is a hands-on field leadership role for an experienced remodeling professional.
We are not looking for another entry-level installer. We are looking for a proven carpenter and field leader who can run work, train newer team members, protect clients’ homes, communicate clearly, and help keep projects organized from start to finish.
The right person should be strong in residential remodeling and especially comfortable with framing, windows, doors, trim carpentry, jobsite layout, sequencing, material planning, quality control, and punch list completion.
You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you do need to know what good work looks like, how to lead people, and how to keep a remodeling project moving without chaos.

- Work is done correctly, not just quickly
- Rework is minimized because details are caught early
- Punch lists shrink instead of grow

- Help with or oversee drywall, painting, flooring, stucco touch-up, tile prep, and punch list work as needed
- Confirm work is completed to Good Steward’s quality standards
- Communicate clearly about job progress, issues, delays, and next steps
