Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Wholesale Delivery Driver to deliver products to vendors along a dedicated daily route. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
This position includes loading and unloading deliveries, verifying orders, collecting payments, and obtaining customer signatures. Drivers must be comfortable navigating city environments such as Savannah or Atlanta.
When deliveries are not scheduled, the individual may assist with farm projects, including carpentry or meat processing.
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour (Depending On Experience)
Responsibilities
· Complete a daily delivery route with multiple vendor stops
· Load and unload delivery vehicles
· Verify orders and obtain delivery signatures
· Collect payments when required
· Provide professional customer service to vendors
· Maintain safe driving practices and a clean driving record
· Assist with farm projects when deliveries are not scheduled
Requirements
· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
· Must be 26 years or older (insurance requirement)
· Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs repeatedly
· Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle in city traffic
· Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
· Willingness to learn (training available for the right candidate)
Preferred Experience
· 1 year of manual transmission driving
· 1 year of delivery driver experience
