Electrical Estimator / Project Engineer
AMR Electric LLC is a growing union electrical contractor serving commercial, industrial, and residential customers throughout western and central Wisconsin. We are seeking an Electrical Estimator / Project Engineer to support our continued growth and work directly with company leadership on preconstruction, estimating, and project execution.
This position is ideal for an experienced electrical estimator, project manager, assistant project manager, or field leader looking to move into an office-based role while staying closely connected to the electrical industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial, industrial, and residential electrical projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Review plans, specifications, and project scope requirements
- Assist with project submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation
- Support project managers with job costing and project administration
- Participate in preconstruction planning and project handoff meetings
- Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and general contractors
Qualifications
- Electrical industry experience required
- Estimating, project management, or field leadership experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with estimating software is a plus
- Union electrical experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and Wisconsin SPS 316

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
