Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sushi and Japanese food with precision and creativity
- Follow established recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Source fresh ingredients daily, inspecting quality and freshness before use
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service hours
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills are highly desirable
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
