Access Family Pharmacy is the largest of a group of family-owned pharmacies. We offer a variety of services including both a retail and long-term care pharmacy, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and extensive medical equipment services. We also offer in-house delivery to patients, facilities, and dr's offices. Our delivery service sets us apart from other pharmacies, but more than that, it’s invaluable to our patients who can’t get to the store to pick up their medications. We pride ourselves on offering the very best patient care and going the extra mile whenever possible.
We're currently looking to add a delivery driver to our team! We need someone who will maintain existing relationships, and create new ones, with patients and healthcare partners. Our drivers work closely with our cashiers, who manage delivery routes. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and works well as a member of a team.
The schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday and every other Saturday. You can expect hours to be roughly between 10am and 7pm Monday to Friday, 11am and 3pm Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. While we do our best to get the drivers out at closing time, the nature of the position doesn't allow for a guaranteed out time. The starting pay is $13-$14 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. We require a drug test, background check, and approval from our insurance company.
Duties:
Deliver prescriptions and other items to personal homes, doctor’s offices, and assisted living facilities, etc
Build relationships with the patients and offices we deliver to regularly
Follow the delivery route made by the cashier
Collect signatures for delivered items on a company iPad
Empty trash cans and other miscellaneous tasks in between deliveries
