Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (3 Months)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for dependable and detail-oriented Pickers to join our warehouse team in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled efficiently. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for permanent employment after a successful 3-month assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets or handheld scanners.
- Verify product quantities and inspect items for quality before shipment.
- Stage and prepare orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory replenishment and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic communication and organizational skills.
