Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center (GSRC) is a multi-disciplinary practice that has been in business for over 25 years. Our services include chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, and psychotherapy with five locations across the southeastern region of Florida. We operate under the mission “To provide the most courteous and effective care and increase the well-being of every person who walks through our door”. The company is seeking a part-time Therapy Aide who will provide support to our chiropractors and manage patient flow.
Work Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Saturday (every other): 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Maintain full compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling or sharing patient medical information.
- Clean and organize the work area, ensuring all equipment is disinfected after each treatment.
- Assist, motivate, and safeguard patients as they perform therapeutic exercises or functional activities under the direction of a Chiropractor or Physical Therapist.
- Administer active and passive therapeutic treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic massage, and modalities such as heat, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or other approved techniques.
- Perform clerical tasks such as completing daily notes, answering phone calls, taking messages, and filling out required forms.
- Collect and record basic diagnostic information—including blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height—for provider use during examinations and treatment planning.
- Provide patients with educational materials as directed by the Chiropractor or Physical Therapist.
- Manage the waiting room, assist with patient needs, and help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day.
- Monitor and respond to email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain organized and accurate patient files in both physical and electronic formats.
- Participate in cross‑training opportunities across other departments within the company.
- Attend monthly, quarterly, and annual office meetings and company events.
- Maintain proper professional attire by wearing approved white, blue, or green scrubs with closed‑toe shoes.
The above responsibilities are not limited and may include other tasks as deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the core functions of Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center.
Skills & Abilities:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, and able to communicate to a diverse range of people clearly and effectively
- Good use of computer, printer, fax, scanner, and copier machines
- Ability to work in and contribute to the team
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask while still paying attention to the details
- Good time management skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Bachelor of Exercise Science and Health
