Foreman, Landscape Construction & Enhancements

We are seeking a Landscape Construction & Enhancements Foreman who takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example, and enjoys building projects that customers can be proud of.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing landscape installation, enhancement, irrigation, drainage, seasonal color, and improvement projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to LPT quality standards.

Position Summary
The Foreman, Landscape Construction & Enhancements is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating daily project activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
The Foreman serves as the field leader and primary point of contact for crew members on assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership
- Lead and supervise landscape construction and enhancement crews.
- Conduct daily jobsite planning and crew assignments.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
- Ensure crews arrive on time and are productive throughout the workday.
Project Execution
- Install and oversee landscape enhancement projects according to plans and specifications.
- Coordinate installation of:
- Trees and shrubs
- Seasonal color
- Sod and turf
- Mulch applications
- Irrigation systems and repairs
- Drainage improvements
- Hardscape improvements
- Erosion control solutions
- Ensure work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Monitor project progress and adjust resources as necessary.
Safety & Equipment Management
- Conduct daily safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies.
- Operate and oversee the use of trucks, trailers, skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, and landscape equipment.
- Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.
Material & Resource Management
- Verify materials delivered match project requirements.
- Track labor, equipment, and material usage.
- Minimize waste and maximize crew efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure project readiness.
Customer Service
- Represent LPT professionally on customer properties.
- Communicate project progress and jobsite updates when required.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure projects are completed to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of landscape construction or enhancement experience.
- Minimum 1 year of crew leadership or foreman experience.
- Ability to read landscape plans and installation drawings.
- Knowledge of landscape installation methods and best practices.
- Experience operating landscape equipment and machinery.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
- Commercial landscape experience.
- Irrigation installation and repair knowledge.
- Drainage installation experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Texas Irrigator's License or related certifications.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
