About the Role
Camp Runoia is a traditional all-girls overnight camp on the shores of Great Pond in Belgrade, Maine. We're looking for a warm, reliable nanny to provide daily care for young children of our camp directors this summer. This is a live-in position starting immediately.
What You'll Do
- Daily care of young children including feeding, age-appropriate activities, bathing, and bedtime routines
- Light household tasks related to the children — tidying, dishes, kids' laundry, sweeping
- Bringing children to community activities such as day camp, the pool, and outdoor outings
- Working as part of the broader camp community
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young children, including active toddlers
- Warm, patient, dependable, and adaptable
- Good judgment and ability to identify and respond to safety concerns
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable living and working in a camp environment
