About the Role
Accel is hiring a seasonal Production Supervisor to support our peak Beauty Care production season from July through November. This role is responsible for leading daily production operations, supervising team members, and helping ensure that safety, quality, productivity, and schedule expectations are met.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate Production Operators and Finished Goods Expeditors.
- Oversee daily production activities and help resolve issues related to safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and schedules.
- Hold employees accountable to productivity, quality, accuracy, and attendance standards.
- Ensure materials and products are moved to the correct production areas according to the production schedule.
- Maintain a working knowledge of production and packaging equipment.
- Coordinate with Maintenance when equipment issues arise.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and company standards.
- Verify that production output meets established quality requirements.
- Conduct employee training, coaching, and performance follow-up.
- Partner with HR and Labor Relations on corrective action and disciplinary matters when needed.
- Lead shift meetings and communicate production goals, priorities, and operational updates.
- Support staffing needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, distribution, or a similar environment.
- Experience managing both temporary and permanent employees.
- Knowledge of production or packaging equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- 2nd shift position with occasional overtime and weekend work.
- Manufacturing environment with both temporary and permanent staff.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility during the shift.
- Must be able to operate a computer and standard office equipment.
