We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate patients, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and provide patient-centered education and support.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, vital-sign assessments, and diagnostic testing.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies in accordance with state regulations, organizational policies, and applicable collaborative or supervisory agreements.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Perform clinical procedures appropriate to the position, training, and practice setting.
- Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and caregivers about diagnoses, medications, disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, workplace safety requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Virginia
- Valid DEA licensure or ability to obtain in the state of Virginia
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency room, ICU, or outpatient clinics.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Practice Fusion for medical documentation and data management.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology (including CPT coding), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience performing procedures like Trigger Point injections and Join injections preferred
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or geriatrics.
- Familiarity with Workers' Compensation law and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance during patient interactions.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
