Weekly Gross Pay: $2,404.00
Weekly Taxable Pay: $990.00
Nontaxable Weekly: $1,414.00

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced RN – TELEMETRY. to fill an opening in Omaha, NE for $66.77/hr. (Taxed+ nontaxed)
Requirements of the RN TELEMETRY:
● Must have a valid state NE License or Compact license.
● Must have AHA BLS, NIHSS
● Must have 2+ years of RN TELEMETRY.

Responsibilities of the RN TELEMETRY.:
- Shift: 12-hours Nights
- 36 hours/week. (3*12)
- 13-week assignment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment, promptly identifying abnormal patterns and responding accordingly.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, following strict aseptic techniques and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with cardiac or acute conditions.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide patient education on medication management, lifestyle modifications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Assist with procedures such as suturing, catheterizations, tube feedings, and ventilator management when necessary.
- Ensure infection control practices are rigorously followed to maintain a sterile environment during all patient care activities.
Skills
- Proven experience in telemetry nursing within hospital settings or critical care environments, including Level I or Level II trauma centers.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology, arrhythmia interpretation, and acute pain management techniques.
- Skilled in performing advanced nursing procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and sterile dressing changes.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools like ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) and ICD-10 standards.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory care or hospice services.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively through critical care response procedures and emergency medicine protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient education initiatives.
