Department: Extrusion
Location: Telford, PA
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Shift Options: Night Shift - 2 on - 2 off - 3 on (7 PM to 7 AM)
About the Role
At Fres-co, our operators play a critical role in delivering high quality flexible packaging that our customers rely on every day. As an Extrusion Operator, you will set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement. We provide hands on training and a supportive team environment to help new and experienced operators succeed.
What You Will Do
- Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment to meet production and quality standards
- Monitor processes and product quality and make adjustments as needed
- Perform in process quality testing and document results
- Complete job changeovers and prepare equipment for upcoming runs
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalate when needed
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and plant policies and report near misses or incidents immediately
- Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement projects, and training activities
- Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards
- Support training of new team members
- Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, but not required. Training provided
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughout the shift

Ability to lift and pull at least 50 pounds and move heavier loads using hand trucks or material handling equipment
