Project Overview
Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a large-scale mission-critical data center project in Fargo, North Dakota.
This is a long-term opportunity supporting one of the largest data center developments in the region. Electricians will install power distribution systems, cable tray, conduit, electrical equipment, and other mission-critical infrastructure supporting hyperscale data center operations.
This project offers a multi-year workload, substantial overtime, and consistent work for qualified electricians.
Responsibilities
- Install EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit systems
- Install cable tray and support systems
- Pull and terminate power, control, and low-voltage cabling
- Install switchgear, transformers, panels, MCCs, and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Perform equipment terminations and startup support
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Maintain compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements
Licensing Requirements
Candidates must hold:
An active North Dakota Journeyman Electrician License
OR
An active Journeyman Electrician license from a reciprocating state with the ability to obtain North Dakota reciprocity.
Reciprocating states:
AK, AR, CO, ID, IA, ME, MN, MT, NE, NH, SD, UT, or WY
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial, industrial, or data center electrical experience
- Experience with conduit installation, cable tray, wire pulls, and terminations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to satisfy required site onboarding requirements
