SUMMARY OF ROLE
Rejuvenate Renovations is seeking a Residential Remodeling Specialist/Handypeople for the Austin, TX metro area. The Residential Remodeling Specialist reports to and works with the owner and will be responsible for;
- Conducting on-site assessments and evaluations to identify necessary improvements and scope of work.
- Carrying out various remodeling tasks, such as carpentry, tile, drywall, painting, and other related activities.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Handling project timelines to meet client expectations.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the remodeling process.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, respecting customers' property.
- Role works primarily Monday-Thursday 10-hour days, work dependent.
Requirements:
- Experience in residential remodeling or related construction work.
- Demonstrated skills in selective demolition, carpentry, and general construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction documents.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Looking for self-starters.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Be able to work 8-12 hours a day in adverse weather conditions. Up to 40 hours a week.
- Be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong skills in Tiling and/or drywall.
- Experience with historic restoration remodeling practices.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and materials in the remodeling industry.
