Travel Assignment Only – 50+ Mile Requirement
We are urgently hiring an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. This opportunity is ideal for laboratory professionals with strong clinical laboratory experience, specimen testing and analysis expertise, and Cerner experience.
- Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) will not be considered for this position.
Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Must be a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- Minimum 2 years of Clinical Laboratory experience
- Experience with clinical specimen testing and laboratory analysis
- Cerner experience – Required
- Current certification through ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality standards, and specimen handling
- Ability to work 10-hour night shifts
- Ability to meet all facility onboarding and compliance requirements
Travel Requirement
- Travel assignment only
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Proof of permanent residence required
- Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis on patient specimens.
- Prepare, process, and evaluate specimens while following established laboratory procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and perform quality control procedures.
- Accurately document test results and maintain records using Cerner.
- Follow laboratory safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards while collaborating with the clinical care team.

- Blended Hourly Rate: $50.00/hour
- Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,000/week
- Taxable Hourly Rate: $12.00/hour
