What You’ll Do
- Perform a full range of physical therapy services within your clinical privileges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations
- Administer manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and traction to relieve pain and improve function
- Educate and motivate patients in performing exercises and using assistive devices
- Record patient responses, progress, and treatment details accurately
- Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare team members
- Promote wellness, prevention, and health education activities
Physical Therapist Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree: Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates before January 1, 2002.
- Education: Graduate from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist.
- Basic Life Support Certification: Required by American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting with diverse patient populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment
This position is based at a leading healthcare facility in Bremerton, WA, providing outpatient physical therapy services.
