Job Description: Transport Agent (Independent Contractor)
About the Role:
This Position is currently On-call PT. Days vary each week. Perfect for gig workers.
We are seeking highly motivated and dependable Transport Agents to join our esteemed logistics team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the secure and timely transportation of products between licensed establishments, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of product integrity and security throughout the transport process. This role includes both primary and secondary transport responsibilities and demands exceptional attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the capability to handle sensitive materials with the utmost responsibility.

Starting Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of both primary and secondary transport operations, including the seamless movement of products from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to final destinations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities strictly adhere to relevant safety regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and comprehensive records of all transportation activities, including delivery logs, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between dispatch, and customers, providing timely updates and effectively addressing any issues or concerns.
- Product Security: Uphold the integrity and security of cannabis products throughout the transport process, including the secure loading and unloading of products.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve transportation-related issues promptly, such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route deviations.
- Support to Primary Transport Agents: Aid Primary Transport Agents in their duties and follow their guidance to ensure smooth and compliant transport operations.
Qualifications:
- Age Requirements: At least 21 years of age.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliability: Demonstrated punctuality and dependability are critical.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to Detail: Exemplary accuracy in documentation and handling of products.
- Commitment to Safety: Strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Handling Sensitive Materials: Proven responsibility in managing cannabis products and related documentation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant transportation and regulations (training provided).
