CDL B Driver – Residential Waste & Recycling Collection
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Class B Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a collection vehicle and ensuring the timely and efficient pickup of residential garbage and recycling along assigned routes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow assigned daily routes through residential neighborhoods for waste and recycling collection.
- Operate primarily as a single-driver route, handling both driving and collection duties; occasional two-person routes may be assigned.
- Safely unload materials at designated disposal or processing facilities as needed.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service, professionalism, and representing the company positively in the community.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy when following route maps and instructions.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class B license required.
- Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation—ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Excellent navigation and directional skills.
- Commitment to thorough, high-quality work and safe operations.
Schedule:
- Typical workday is approximately 7 hours, depending on route and conditions.
