Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver to join our dedicated team for 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am full time . This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing exceptional personal care and support within a respectful and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient observation skills, experience working with geriatric and disabled populations, and a genuine passion for caregiving.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and document patient conditions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform vital signs assessments, catheter care, and other medical tasks under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia through specialized care techniques.
- Facilitate safe patient transfers utilizing proper transfer methods
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks like laundry and meal preparation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure personalized care plans are followed.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving credential.
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, basic life support (BLS), CPR certification, and first aid procedures.
- Familiarity with Assisted Living regulations, and medical documentation practices.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring hospice or end-of-life care is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and utilize patient transfer methods safely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and client communication.

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
