We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bobarista to join our vibrant café team! As a Bobarista, you will be the heart of our coffee experience, delivering exceptional beverage and food service with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your passion for coffee, customer service, and food preparation will create memorable moments for every guest. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process retail sales transactions swiftly and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, giving correct change and processing payments securely.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas by following food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about beverages and food items, and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty.
- Prepare food items such as baked goods or light snacks in accordance with food handling regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously without compromising quality or service.
