Primary Purpose:
Serve as a district-level leader responsible for the overall management of the district's human resources functions and public communications efforts. This position oversees recruitment, staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, leave administration, compliance, Title IX coordination, and district communications/public relations. The role also serves as the primary liaison between the district and the community, promoting positive public relations and providing accurate information regarding district activities, goals, and initiatives.
Major Responsibilities Include:
- Lead district-wide HR operations, including recruitment, staffing, compensation, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, and compliance
- Serve as the district's Title IX Coordinator
- Oversee personnel records, contracts, and policy compliance
- Develop and implement employee retention and engagement strategies
- Serve as district spokesperson and liaison with media and community stakeholders
- Coordinate district publications, press releases, recruitment materials, and public messaging
- Support district leadership through strategic communication and organizational planning
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human resources, education, business administration or equivalent
- Mid‐management or Principal's Certification, preferred
- 5 years of experience in human resources management or public school administration
- 5 years supervisory experience
- Experience in employee relations, compliance, and Title IX processes preferred
- Experience in public relations, media communications, community engagement, or district communications preferred
