Job Overview
Job Title: RN Unit Manager (RN UM)
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87112
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: 07 weeks (with possible extension)
Pay Range: $65/hr to $70/hr
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Order Type: New Opening
RN Unit Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care
- Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all care standards
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and family members
- Monitor medication administration and ensure proper documentation
- Implement care policies, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures
- Address resident concerns, manage escalations, and maintain positive patient relationships
- Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing personnel performance
- Oversee shift scheduling, staff assignments, and workflow management
- Ensure regulatory compliance with facility, state, and federal standards
- Participate in audits, care meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
Radius Rule: Should not be more than 70 miles
Should have at least 1 year of experience as a RN Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor
