Human Resource Generalist/Marketing Coordinator
Position Summary
The Human Resource Generalist with Marketing Experience is responsible for supporting all aspects of human resources while also assisting with company marketing initiatives. This role combines employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with employer branding, social media management, content creation, and community outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and able to effectively communicate with both internal employees and external audiences.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews and onboarding.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and new hire paperwork.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS systems.
- Administer benefits enrollment and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Support employee engagement and retention programs.
- Coordinate training and safety programs.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain confidential personnel information.
- Assist with policy development and implementation.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Develop and manage social media content across multiple platforms.
- Create marketing materials including flyers, brochures, newsletters, and promotional content.
- Maintain and update company website content.
- Coordinate community outreach and company events.
- Support recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
- Capture and share company culture, employee recognition, and project highlights.
- Assist with advertising campaigns and marketing strategies.
Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Human Resources with experience in Marketing.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Marketing, communications, or social media management experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
