MANTECH seeks a motivated, career, and client-oriented Subject Matter Expert AI/ML Strategist to join our team in Arlington VA. This is a Hybrid position.

Enterprise Standards Definition: Formulate the overarching, macro-level AI/ML model governance and responsible AI roadmap for the entire enterprise, setting definitive precedents for compliance and model ownership.

Algorithmic Guardrails: Design elite-level validation frameworks to identify and neutralize algorithmic bias, ensuring absolute alignment with national security metrics, federal compliance laws, and ethical AI imperatives.

High-Level Technical Escalation: Act as the final authority on Tier-4 model governance issues and critical system failures, engineering root-cause architectures that cross multiple complex data ecosystems.

Secure System Orchestration: Author policy frameworks and secure access controls for model APIs, working alongside agency executive leadership to solidify cross-domain security boundaries.

Systemic System Thinking: Deconstruct highly sensitive, multi-agency technical pipelines into comprehensive operational architectures, resolving deep-seated procedural and technical alignment conflicts.

Macro Change Leadership: Orchestrate institutional shifts in data culture and model adoption across diverse cross-functional teams, mentoring junior professionals and aligning executive stakeholders.

Expansive Business Development & ROI Modeling: Continually evaluate the macro-level client landscape to identify shifting requirements and massive mission gaps. Author definitive, multi-million-dollar technical proposals, build complex staffing plans and work breakdown structures (WBS), and generate rigorous ROI business cases that catalyze massive, organic scope expansions.

Bachelor’s Degree; Master's or PhD degree HIGHLY preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Mathematics/Statistics).

15+ years of relevant experience navigating technical delivery and client strategy.

Exceptional communication skills with a proven history of advising and influencing senior military, intelligence community (IC), or civilian executives.

CCSP, CISSP, CISM, FITSP-M, or GSLC.

PMP, PgMP, or enterprise-scale Agile Coach credentials.

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
