Job Summary
The Office Staff plays a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment for students, parents, and visitors at Nova Driving School’s Humble location. This position provides front‑desk customer service, administrative support, and daily operational assistance to ensure a smooth and positive experience for every family we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet students, parents, and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and a customer‑first attitude
- Answer phone calls, emails, and walk‑in inquiries regarding programs, schedules, and requirements
- Guide families through enrollment options and clearly explain program benefits
- Process registrations, payments, and student documentation accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized student records and ensure compliance with Illinois driver education requirements
- Assist with scheduling Behind‑the‑Wheel lessons and classroom sessions
- Resolve customer concerns with patience, empathy, and sound judgment
- Support instructors and management with daily operational and administrative needs
- Uphold Nova’s brand standards and deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with a warm, professional customer‑service approach
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced office environment
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and basic office software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling payments and documentation
- Ability to learn and explain program requirements clearly to families
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts consistently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow compliance procedures
