Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for adults.
- Plan and implement activities-creativity, and social skills.
- Ensure the safety of all individuals by adhering to behavior management strategies, and mandated reporting laws.
- Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining a safe environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with guardians regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Support adults with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment while following all health and safety guidelines.
Skills
- Experience working with adults with disabilities.
- Proven ability to plan engaging activities tailored to adults
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for adults
- CBRF certification,Certification in first aid and CPR; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience working in an AFH or CBRF
