Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PHC (Primary Health Care) Field Supervisor to oversee community health initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality home health services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of healthcare compliance standards, and experience managing field operations. As a PHC Field Supervisor, you will coordinate field staff activities, monitor service quality, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, Medicare, and JCAHO standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of field health professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy rules, FDA regulations, and Medicare guidelines.
- Provide training and ongoing support to field staff on documentation procedures such as CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and ICD coding practices.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to verify adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams to optimize patient care plans while maintaining compliance with JCAHO accreditation standards.
- Manage documentation accuracy related to patient records, billing codes, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Address operational challenges promptly by implementing corrective actions aligned with compliance management policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in community health supervision or field management within a home health or primary care setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems, Medicare policies, FDA regulations, and JCAHO accreditation processes.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and billing procedures involving ICD coding and CPT coding.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and evaluate field staff effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and team members.
