Tucson Racquet Club is seeking a dynamic and energetic Food and Beverage Manager to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional dining experiences, which is a key element of the services offered at the club. Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for all aspects of the restaurant, kitchen and bar.
· This includes monitoring of staffing for a team of excess of 20 cooks, servers and bar tenders for a place that is open year round.
· Responsibility for creating a high standard of food quality and cleanliness to meet both internal and external requirements.
· Responsibility for the monitoring of food and beverage inventory in coordination with suppliers at the best quality and price.
· Responsible for the proper levels of staffing for all related functions to ensure that club members are served at the quality expected.
· Responsible to ensure that all staff is properly trained and given the level of feedback to be successful.
· Responsible for the achievement of the annual and long -term goals/budget in terms of sales and profit in line with the corporate strategy of the club.
· Responsible for all aspect of the menus and pricing of the food and drinks to be served.
· Serve as a key member of the Tucson Racquet senior management team.
· Responsible for generating new business for both restaurant and bar in terms of generating outside EVENTS and other promotions that are consistent with the values and culture of the club.
· Responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety for the Food and Beverage areas in compliance with OSHA
Qualifications
· Prior experience operating a food and beverage establishment with a minimum of 5 -7 years of hands-on experience cooking food and serving customers
· Familiar with all regulatory aspects of operating a restaurant and bar
· Prior supervision experience with a variety of staff with high turnover
· Willing to be flexible to changing business conditions as the club evolves
· Have a good business acumen that knows how to meet daily, monthly and annual targets
· Great communication skills both verbally and written to serve as the FACE of the establishment.
· Ability to “think out of the box’ to grow the existing business based on an uncompromising dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Education
· Good computer skills with all Microsoft products along with a strong knowledge of POS systems such as Silverware for efficient transaction processing
· College level of education (preferably in hospitality and tourism)
· Vocational courses/training in food and beverage
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
