ECM Consultants, LLC is looking for a Certified Construction Inspector to join our team. The right candidate will have a background in the field, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety. The Construction Inspector is to monitor daily on-site quality assurance, construction progress and prepare daily quality assurance reports on streets, highways, bridges, drainage and other utilities projects.
Responsibilities:

High School diploma with 5+ years' experience in construction projects

LADOTD certifications including Asphalt Paving, Structural Concrete, PCC Paving, Embankment & Base are preferred.

Out of State DOTD Certifications could be acceptable to LADOTD

Computer skills include Microsoft Office Software including MS Word and MS Excel

Work with architects, contractors, and engineers on a daily basis.

Communication Skills both oral and written in English

Ability to read and comprehend civil engineering drawings and specifications
