Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Nurse Injector to join our dynamic medical spa team. In this role, you will deliver safe, effective, and aesthetically pleasing injectable treatments, including botulinum toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers, to help clients achieve their beauty goals. Your expertise in injection administration, combined with excellent customer service skills, will ensure a positive experience for every guest. Duties
- Perform injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin and dermal fillers with precision and care, adhering to all safety protocols and industry standards
- Consult with clients to understand their aesthetic goals and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, client records, and treatment outcomes using salon or med spa management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, potential side effects, and maintenance options to ensure optimal results
- Assist with other aesthetic services including chemical peels, dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading as needed
- Manage front desk responsibilities by scheduling appointments, handling retail sales, and providing exceptional guest services
- Uphold sanitation standards by maintaining a clean treatment area and sterilizing equipment according to health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty or medical spa industry with a focus on injection administration and esthetic treatments
- Strong knowledge of botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, laser procedures, chemical peels, and other skin rejuvenation techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients and build lasting relationships
- Familiarity with salon or med spa management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and record keeping
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of social media management for promoting services and engaging with clients online
- Competency in retail sales techniques including upselling products like skincare lines or treatment packages
- Basic understanding of hair styling, hair extensions, nail care, makeup application, tattooing, barbering or straight razor shaving is a plus but not required
- Strong sanitation practices combined with experience in chemical peels or dermabrasion procedures
- Customer service-oriented mindset with hospitality skills that create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
