Excite All Stars (EAS) is a New Orleans-based youth development nonprofit committed to empowering youth through academics, athletics, arts, leadership, and STEM programming. Founded in 2007, EAS provides year-round enrichment opportunities that help young people build confidence, leadership skills, healthy lifestyles, and pathways toward future success. Excite All Stars serves youth across underserved communities in New Orleans through sports-based youth development programs, mentorship, workforce readiness initiatives, leadership training, arts enrichment, STEM education, and summer learning opportunities. Through intentional programming and positive mentorship, EAS works to reduce barriers facing youth impacted by poverty while creating safe spaces for growth and opportunity. The Systems, Marketing & Impact VISTA will support the organization’s long-term sustainability by strengthening volunteer systems, improving digital storytelling, and helping measure program outcomes and impact. This role will help Excite All Stars improve organizational efficiency and community engagement while expanding awareness of programs and services. The VISTA will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, social media strategy, volunteer management, communications, program evaluation, and community engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, passionate about youth empowerment, and interested in mission-driven leadership.
Member Duties : The VISTA at Excite All Stars will serve as part of the 2026-27 Coach Across America VISTA cohort. The Systems, Marketing & Impact VISTA will increase organizational effectiveness and scale and reach by strengthening volunteer systems, marketing efforts, and program evaluation tools. They will develop volunteer recruitment and tracking systems, create a social media content calendar, coordinate newsletters and website updates, and organize marketing content for year-round programming. The VISTA will also develop surveys and impact tracking tools, analyze program data, and collaborate with leadership by creating SOPs to improve operational systems that strengthen organizational growth and community engagement.
