We are a busy cardiology practice in Freehold, NJ looking for a reliable and motivated full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- CMA Certification
- BLS Certification from AHA
- Experience in Cardiology preferred, but not required
Responsibilities inclue:
- Preparing and cleaning exam rooms before patient visits
- Rooming patients, verifying patient information, confirming purpose of visit
- Taking and recording vitals and updating medication lists
- Performing EKGs
- Applying Holter monitors and Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT) monitors
- Assisting with stress tests alongside RNs or physicians when needed
- Calling patients with results of testing
- Managing medication refill requests and processing medication prior authorizations
- Answering clinical phone calls
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience starting at $23/hour

Scheduling Requirements:
- Day shift, 40 hours/week (*position requires extended hours, some early, some late)
