Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and professionalism to the classroom, fostering engagement and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Teach 9th–12th grade Social Studies courses (World Geography, American History).
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with school standards.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student success.
- Uphold the values and mission of Beth Jacob High School.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Political Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Colorado teaching license or eligibility (preferred, not required for private schools).
- Experience teaching high school students, ideally in social studies.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Enthusiasm for teaching in a supportive, faith-based girls’ high school environment.
