Georgia Jaw Surgery is a new, patient-first Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice opening in Cumming, GA. We're looking for an organized, personable, and proactive Front Office Coordinator to help build the practice from the ground up.
As the face of our practice, you'll create an exceptional experience for every patient—from their first phone call through treatment completion. You'll play an important role in building our front office systems, supporting our referral partners, and helping establish the culture of our practice from day one.
This is more than a front desk position. As our practice grows, you'll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and grow into an Office Manager role.
What You'll Do:
As our Front Office Coordinator, you'll help ensure every day runs smoothly by:
- Greeting patients and creating a warm, welcoming experience
- Answering phones and responding to patient and referral office inquiries
- Scheduling consultations and surgical appointments efficiently
- Confirming appointments and helping minimize cancellations and no-shows
- Verifying insurance benefits and obtaining authorizations when needed
- Explaining treatment estimates, insurance coverage, and patient financial responsibilities with confidence and compassion
- Collecting payments and processing patient check-in/check-out
- Coordinating treatment plans and follow-up appointments
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Supporting daily office operations, reporting, and end-of-day reconciliation
- Helping improve front office workflows and patient experience as the practice grows

- Comfortable discussing insurance, treatment estimates, and patient financial responsibilities
- Self-motivated and enjoys taking ownership
- Excited to help build a growing practice from the ground up
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of dental or medical front office experience required; oral surgery or specialty dental experience preferred.
- Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills; experience with Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar practice management software is a plus
