Café Floor Manager | $34-$40/hour | Full-Time
We are seeking hospitality-driven Café Floor Managers to join our teams at both of our Persephone locations in Jackson and Wilson, Wyoming. These are highly engaged, hands-on leadership roles focused on creating an exceptional guest experience while supporting and coordinating the entire café team. As a Café Floor Manager, you’ll be a visible leader and the face of service in our bustling café environment, spending your time where it matters most: with our guests and our team.

Restaurant or café management experience is valuable, but it isn't the only path to this role. We're interested in candidates with demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, retail, food service, or another fast-paced, customer-focused environment who know how to take care of people, communicate effectively, and lead a team. Please note: Employee housing is not available for this position. We are specifically seeking candidates who currently live in the local area and are already established within commuting distance of the café. This position is not intended for candidates planning to relocate to the area.
What You'll Do:
Lead the Guest Experience
- Be a visible presence on the café floor and help ensure every guest has a positive experience from arrival through departure.
- Lead by example and demonstrate genuine, thoughtful hospitality.
- Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns, and identify opportunities to continually improve the guest experience.
- Support the team across service positions during busy periods, including register, food and beverage service, and maintaining the café environment.
- Maintain a professional presence and consistently model company standards and expectations.
Lead & Develop the Team
- Provide active leadership, direction, and support to front-of-house employees throughout each shift.
- Train and coach employees in hospitality, service standards, menu knowledge, safety, sanitation, and café procedures.
- Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, coaching, and accountability to team members.
- Address performance or conduct concerns promptly and partner with café leadership and HR when additional support or formal corrective action is appropriate.
- Encourage open communication and help create a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
- Participate in ongoing staff meetings, training, and employee development.
Support Daily Café Operations
- Assess the café at the beginning of each shift to ensure the team and space are ready for service.
- Communicate daily priorities, special information, staffing needs, and operational updates to the team.
- Help coordinate service and adjust team support as business needs change throughout the day.
- Ensure front-of-house cleaning, side work, housekeeping, and maintenance responsibilities are completed.
- Monitor food, retail, and supply inventory and communicate or address replenishment needs.
- Help ensure the café operates in accordance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, employment, and company requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, sanitation, and security.
Opening & Closing Leadership
- Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as directed by the General Manager.
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately and consistently.
- Complete cash counts, tip entry, and other required administrative responsibilities.
- Conduct final café walkthroughs and ensure the space is properly prepared for the next shift.
- Leave clear communication regarding important issues, follow-up needs, or operational concerns.
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, retail, food service, or another fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and support a diverse team.
- Excellent judgment and the ability to remain calm and make decisions in a busy environment.
- A genuine commitment to hospitality and taking care of both guests and team members.
- Willingness to work alongside the team and assist wherever needed.
- Dependability and scheduling flexibility to support café operations.
Preferred, but not required
- Café or restaurant leadership experience.
- Experience training, coaching, or supervising employees.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and opening or closing procedures.
- Experience working in a high-volume hospitality environment.
Schedule & AvailabilityThis is a full-time, in-person leadership position. Flexibility is required to support café operations, including early mornings, weekends, holidays, and other high-volume periods as needed. Floor Managers also participate in required seasonal closures and café cleaning periods.
