We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic team member that will help us greet guests, tell them about our products and serve them. The job does require an individual who is at least 18 years old and out of school since it requires some hours during the typical school day. We are primarily looking for someone who can work both weekdays and weekends, and both daytime and evening shifts, though we generally try to create steady schedules for our employees. We have locations in both Ashland and Framingham, and people who can work at either location have opportunities for more weekly shifts. People working this job typically make an extra $2-4/hour in tips above the base pay. Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, and smoothies. Serve prepared foods, and prepare foods. Operate cash register taking payment from customers. Keep the work and service areas clean and stocked at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and make them feel welcome.
- Keep work and service areas clean, stocked (including food and non-food items) and sanitized.
- Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and smoothies.
- Prepare or serve menu items, such as panini and smoothies.
- Serve prepared foods, such as croissants, cakes, gelato, chocolates.
- Be knowledgeable and describe all products to customers.
- Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.
- Commitment to the service values and ethics of the Dulce D Leche.
- Perform inventory tasks and request missing or low items.
- Take custom orders for cakes and desserts.
Skills:
- Produce orders accurately and efficiency.
- Ability to communicate clearly with English speaking customers and business owner
