Onken’s Inc. is currently looking for a welder to join our team in Easton, IL. MIG welding experience preferred. Job duties include: Positioning and securing parts and assemblies according to specifications. Tack-welding or welding components and assemblies. Cutting workpieces, using powered saws or hand shears. Inspecting welds for quality and accuracy. Removing rough spots from workpieces using portable grinder.
The ideal candidate will show an aptitude for math and problem-solving. We are looking for a team player, a good communicator, and someone able to perform in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work 10 hour days and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
Work Environment: Job requires use of welding safety gear, hearing protection, and steel toed boots to be worn at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
