Liquidation & Online Auction Warehouse Associate

The Mystery Box Co. is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking individual to join our liquidation warehouse team. This is a hands-on position involving warehouse operations, forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks, liquidation inventory, and HiBid online auctions.
We work with liquidation, overstock, returns, undeliverable merchandise, pallets, mystery boxes, and other inventory. Our inventory and workload change daily, so we're looking for someone who can stay organized, work efficiently, and jump in wherever needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Unload incoming semi-trucks and delivery trucks
- Load outgoing trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles
- Move, stack, and organize pallets throughout the warehouse
- Receive and process incoming liquidation merchandise
- Verify and organize incoming inventory
- Break down and sort pallets as needed
- Prepare pallets for sale
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Create and manage online auction listings using HiBid
- Photograph merchandise and upload clear, accurate photos
- Write descriptions and create auction lots
- Organize merchandise by auction and lot number
- Prepare winning auction items for customer pickup
- Assist customers with loading purchased pallets and merchandise
- Research products and merchandise when necessary
- Assist with general warehouse and liquidation operations
- Perform other duties as needed
Forklift & Warehouse Experience
Previous forklift experience is strongly preferred.
Ideal candidates should have experience with:
- Operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Loading and unloading semi-trucks and trailers
- Moving and stacking pallets
- Using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Receiving truckloads of merchandise
- Organizing warehouse inventory
- Safely loading customer vehicles and trailers
- Working around large quantities of palletized merchandise
HiBid / Online Auction Experience
Experience with HiBid or another online auction platform is preferred.
Responsibilities may include creating auction lots, uploading photos, entering descriptions, organizing lots, assisting with auction closings, and preparing merchandise for winning bidders.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Forklift experience strongly preferred
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience loading and unloading trucks preferred
- HiBid or online auction experience is a plus
- Must be comfortable performing physical warehouse work
- Ability to lift and move merchandise throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and online platforms
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to follow warehouse and equipment safety procedures
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with liquidation, resale, auctions, shipping/receiving, or e-commerce is a plus

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, is comfortable operating a forklift and handling truckloads of palletized merchandise, and is willing to learn the online auction side of our business.
Forklift, truck loading/unloading, HiBid, liquidation, and warehouse experience are major advantages for this position.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
