Bread Assistant / Bakery Assistant
A Bread Assistant / Bakery Assistant supports the daily production of breads, pastries, and baked goods. This role involves assisting with ingredient preparation, dough production, baking processes, packaging, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and baking breads, pastries, and other bakery products.
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
- Mix, shape, proof, and bake dough products.
- Prepare fillings, toppings, and other bakery ingredients.
- Package finished products and prepare them for display or customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Support inventory management and restocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Communicate with customers and team members in both Chinese and English as needed.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of baking and bread production techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English preferred.
