Duties
- Install new signs according to schematics, technical drawings, and safety standards using appropriate tools and equipment
- Perform electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot wiring issues or electrical components within signage systems
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing signage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
- Interpret technical schematics and drawings accurately to guide installation processes
- Use tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and verify circuit integrity during installation and troubleshooting
- Operate heavy equipment mechanics safely when positioning large or complex signs in challenging locations
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of sign installations while adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical diagnostics, mechanical work, or sign installation roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to mounting hardware, structural supports, and electrical wiring systems
- Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics used in lifting or positioning large signage components
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within industrial or construction environments
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Technical proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices
- Knowledge of safety standards related to working at heights and operating heavy machinery
