Assistant General Manager
We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a solid knowledge of wine? We're looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff to provide outstanding guest service.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Manage scheduling, inventory, labor costs, and daily cash handling.
- Support hiring, training, and performance management of team members.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service.
- Promote wine sales through staff education and confident guest recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In depth wine knowledge is required, including varietals, regions, food pairings, and service standards. Wine certifications (WSET, CMS, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience with beverage and wine inventory management.
- Toast and Open Table experience preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Full open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What We Offer
Full-time.
Salary $60,000 to $70,000 plus $6,000 to $10,000 of our service fee.
