We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator/Inventory & Cycle Counts professional to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties
+ Inventory & Cycle Counts
- Operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, lift trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy of stock levels using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems.
- Assist with order picking using manual handling techniques and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA standards and forklift safety protocols during all equipment operation activities.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading materials, verifying shipment contents against documentation, and ensuring proper storage.
- Perform basic maintenance and equipment repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in production areas by following established procedures for heavy lifting, manual handling, and materials handling.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets correctly, utilizing pallet jacks effectively, and managing inventory locations.
- Utilize warehouse management system software for tracking inventory movements, updating stock records, and generating reports.

Experience
- Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar heavy machinery within a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology for logistics, shipping & receiving procedures.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation, materials handling, and workplace safety standards.
- Previous experience in inventory management including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and stock control procedures.
- Experience working under safety standards in production environments with an emphasis on manual handling and heavy lifting techniques.
- Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for measuring quantities, calculating weights or dimensions accurately during inventory tasks.
