We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care cases.
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and physical therapy modalities to promote healing and pain relief.
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment responses, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist to refine care strategies.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and discharge planning to support continued recovery at home or in outpatient settings.
- Perform patient care activities including assisting with mobility exercises, transfers, and functional training within inpatient or outpatient environments.
- Maintain accurate medical terminology records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Support discharge planning efforts by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions between care settings.
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License/ registration as required by state law.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices.
- Hands-on experience with physical therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and patients recovering from surgery or injury.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams involved in discharge planning and patient care coordination.

Pay: $37.00 - $47.00 per hour
