Primary Role:
Provide strategic leadership for all marketing and communications initiatives by overseeing the development and execution of the company's brand strategy, corporate communications, digital marketing, sales enablement, and public relations efforts. Lead the Marketing & Communications department while partnering with executive leadership to support business growth, strengthen brand awareness, and ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's marketing and communications strategy to support corporate objectives, business development initiatives, and brand growth.
- Oversee the creation and management of all internal and external communications, including digital marketing, website content, social media, email campaigns, executive communications, customer announcements, and public relations.
- Lead the development of marketing collateral, presentations, research publications, trade show materials, and sales enablement resources while ensuring brand consistency across all customer-facing communications.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional departments to identify marketing opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and communicate key company developments.
- Coordinate corporate conferences, trade shows, and customer events, including booth design and logistics, marketing collateral, event promotions, vendor coordination, and travel and scheduling support for sales and executive teams.
- Manage departmental budgets, marketing vendors, agencies, and external partners while evaluating marketing performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, including leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with experience developing messaging for executive, customer, and employee audiences.
- Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, content strategy, public relations, and business-to-business (B2B) marketing principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, website content management systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise the Marketing & Communications Specialist, including assigning work, establishing priorities, providing coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional development.
- Oversee the work of external marketing agencies, designers, photographers, printers, and other vendors to ensure quality, consistency, and timely project execution.
