Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced 12 Volt Technician Mobile Electronics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will specialize in installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile electronic systems and automotive electrical components. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets the highest standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair mobile electronics systems such as audio/video units, security systems, backup cameras, and ADAS features across various vehicle makes and models.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately diagnose electrical issues within vehicle systems.
- Use automotive diagnostic tools to identify faults in electrical and electronic components efficiently.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including suspension system repair, transmission system repair, powertrain diagnostics, and diesel engine repairs when necessary.
- Conduct vehicle alignment and wheel balancing procedures to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools skillfully during installation and repair processes while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with all services performed.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive electronics and repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines.
- Proficiency in automotive wiring diagram interpretation, schematics reading, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools such as scan tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing devices.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS technology installation and calibration is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with strong communication abilities to explain technical issues clearly.
