Position Title: Cleaner Custodial Position
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Full-time/Hourly
Reports to: Maintenance Director
Night position 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience desired, but not required

POSITION PURPOSE
Provide support to all students and staff through efforts to maintain the school buildings as a safe and clean environment supportive of student learning.
PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Daily areas to clean and maintain
-
Snow removal as needed
-
Work with/assist staff
-
Answer radio calls
-
Change light bulbs as needed.

Set up or tear down events and clean up as needed.

Participate in professional meetings.

Follow all district policies, including those relating to a drug-free school.

Maintain a positive rapport with students, staff, parents, and the community.

Cooperate with and work in a courteous manner with coworkers and other personnel.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude toward school, students, and job.

Maintain confidentiality in the school operation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift 70 pounds repeatedly for infrequent amounts of time. Lift 100 pounds occasionally. Use mops, vacuum, and other cleaning equipment for extending periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Inside and outside work environments. Outside work will vary with the seasons. Inside work is typically within a controlled environment.
