ABOUT ARROWHEAD DECK AND POOLS
Since 2008, Arrowhead Deck and Pools has been building premium pools, decks, and outdoor living spaces across Arizona. We're a licensed, award-winning builder — four ROC licenses, 15-plus industry awards, and 400-plus projects completed every year. We don't cut corners and we don't hire people who do.
We're a tight, capable crew that takes real pride in the work. Every project that leaves our hands is something an investor and owner lives with for decades, and we treat it that way. If you want to be part of a company that does serious, high-quality construction and runs it like a professional operation, keep reading.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Project Coordinator who keeps our jobs moving — on schedule, on budget, and by the book. This is the person who owns the details: permits, purchase orders, plans, and the day-to-day paperwork that turns a signed contract into a finished pool. You'll be the connective tissue between our project managers, site crews, vendors, and accounting.
This is not a role you can fake. You need to have pulled permits, tracked budgets, and coordinated real construction projects. If you've done it well, you'll thrive here.
This is an office-based, in-person role in Arizona. You should be comfortable in a busy environment where several projects are running at once.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist, support and communicate project schedules, milestones, and timelines from planning through close-out.
- Order designs and engineering plans, and make sure materials, resources, and supplies are allocated and delivered on time.
- Prepare, review, and submit construction permits, contracts, and change orders. (Pool permit experience is required — see below.)
- Track project progress, keep status reports current, and manage changes in scope. Continuously working with clients and Project Managers
- Flag potential delays to management early — before they become problems.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, conflicts, and issues as they come up.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Keep communication clean between the field, the office, and accounting.
- Maintain accurate project documentation — plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the permitting process, purchase materials, and enter purchase orders.
- Keep all compliance documentation accurate and properly filed.
- Run project evaluations and manage opening and close-out procedures for each job.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Pool permit experience — this is non-negotiable. Do not apply without it.
- Bookkeeping experience Preferred
- Minimum 5 years in construction.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and hit deadlines.
- Clear, professional communication and the ability to build solid working relationships with crews, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Solid problem-solving instincts — you spot issues and fix them.
- Working knowledge of permitting, purchasing, and compliance documentation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience in pool or outdoor construction.
- Familiarity with construction project management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing multiple active projects at once.
PAY & BENEFITS
$40,000 – $50,000 per year (+ rewards)
- Retirement plan
- Health insurance
- Life, disability, and illness coverage
- Paid time off
- Room to grow with an established, award-winning builder
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
