We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests enjoying our breakfast service, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Your enthusiasm and commitment to exceptional customer service will help create memorable mornings for our guests. On weekends and weekdays, early morning shift begins at 5:00 AM on weekdays and 6:00 AM on weekends, continuing until 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly displayed
- Serve guests with a friendly attitude, assisting with food selections and answering questions about menu options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
- Monitor food quality and replenish items as needed to ensure a consistent guest experience
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with catering or banquet setups when required, supporting larger events with efficient service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and presentation for breakfast service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, engaging attitude
- Experience serving in a restaurant or banquet setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food industry best practices
- Barista or dietary aide experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food preparation and customer interaction
- Ability to work early mornings and stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
